This past week a “little” gem, DON PX CONVENTO SELECCIÓN 1946, arrived to our cellar. A wine made from Pedro Ximénez grapes under the A.O. Montilla-Moriles.

This PX was made from the first harvest after World War II and it has been ageing in American oak until bottled, in September 2011. The bottle is wax-sealed and diamond-signed, only 852 units were produced and it can be enjoyed, in an optimal condition for consumption, until 2060. A wine with a powerfull nose and mid-palate, that leaves no one indifferent.
