{"id":13773,"date":"2016-03-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-03-28T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.invinic.com\/bacchus-awards-2016"},"modified":"2017-10-05T14:44:23","modified_gmt":"2017-10-05T12:44:23","slug":"bacchus-awards-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.invinic.com\/en\/bacchus-awards-2016","title":{"rendered":"Bacchus Awards 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From the 18th to the 21st of March 2016 took place one of the major annual events of the world of wine in Spain: the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uec.es\/bacchus\/index.php\/es\/\">Bacchus<\/a> Awards.<\/p>\n<p>This event, which is organized by the Spanish Association of wine connoisseurs (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uec.es\/\">Uni\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Catadores<\/a>), is the only one which is recognized by the International Organisation of Vines and Wines (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oiv.int\/\">OIV<\/a>), and represents one of the most independent and most open competitions taking place at the moment, also due to the high professional qualification of the more than 80 wine experts which form the Jury, starting with <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.invinic.com\/en\/master-of-wine\">Masters of Wine<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mastersommeliers.org\/\">Masters Sommelier<\/a>, through <strong>recognized wine professionals<\/strong>, to experienced <strong>specialized journalists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In this edition more than <strong>1,500 Wine tastings<\/strong> were presented from around the world, which were tasted in the course of 4 days, where there was a particularly high level this year, since <strong>13 Great Golden Bacchus<\/strong> have been awarded (2015, there were 4), and almost <strong>200 Golden Bacchus<\/strong> (2015, there were 178).<\/p>\n<p>Among the awarded we can highlight the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/don-px-convento-seleccion-1931\">Don Px Convento Selecci\u00f3n 1931<\/a> (Great Golden Bacchus), a &#8220;related&#8221; wine of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/don-px-convento-seleccion-1946\">Don PX Convento Selecci\u00f3n 1946<\/a> (<strong>100 Parker points<\/strong>), very exclusive, and of which only a few units are still for sale.<\/p>\n<p>With the Golden Bacchus were, among others, also awarded: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/petalos-del-bierzo-2014\">P\u00e9talos Del Bierzo 2014<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/deutz-brut-classic\">Deutz Brut Classic<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/les-terrasses-2014\">Les Terrasses Velles Vinyes 2014<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/carmelo-rodero-crianza-2013\">Carmelo Rodero Crianza 2013<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/pago-de-los-capellanes-crianza-2012\">Pago De Los Capellanes Crianza 2012<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.invinic.com\/en\/vina-pomal-crianza-2013\">Vi\u00f1a Pomal Crianza 2013<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to congratulate all of them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the 18th to the 21st of March 2016 took place one of the major annual events of the world of wine in Spain: the Bacchus Awards.
