Ram\u00f3n Bilbao<\/a> is one of the oldest wineries in the Rioja. The bodega was officially founded in 1924 by Ram\u00f3n Bilbao Murga<\/strong>, although he sold wine since 1896, in the small wine village of Haro, which is a reference of the Rioja Alta. Currently, it has several production lines: Also wines under the appellation d’origine Rueda<\/a> are made; the Monte Blanco<\/a> (fresh and natural, tropical memories, vegetable and fresh).<\/p>\n Recently, they had the opportunity to start a project in Galicia<\/strong>, called Mar de Frades<\/a>, and with 3 different, very interesting products: Mar de Frades Albari\u00f1o<\/a> (fresh atlantic, citrus and pleasant), Mar de Frades Brut Nature<\/a> (rare and authentic, light and ordinary bubbles, foamy) and Finca Vali\u00f1as Albari\u00f1o<\/strong> (creamy, greasy, atlantic minerality, elegant and enveloping).<\/p>\n And finally, in Quintanilla de On\u00e9simo, between Valladolid and Aranda de Duero, they develop in their Bodega Cruz de Alba<\/strong> two fantastic wines under the appellation d’origine Ribera del Duero<\/a>: Cruz de Alba (modern, fruity, with great balance, but very authentic) and the Finca los Hoyales (from the vineyard to the bottle, maximum earthy and vegetal expression, unique and special).<\/p>\n Their products speak for themselves, and thanks to their large experience, the passion and the spirit of the founder Ram\u00f3n Bilbao is maintained in the heart of Haro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Ram\u00f3n Bilbao is one of the oldest wineries in the Rioja. \nSince then, the winery has always been owned by the family. In 1999, this was then bought by the company Diego Zamora, S.A.<\/strong>, and they carried out important reforms<\/strong>, in which the installations were modernized.
