Bodegas Iniesta, owned by the F.C. Barcelona player Andrés Iniesta, has just launched a new wine to the market: Finca El Carril Hechicero.

This is a wine made from Syrah grapes (40%), Petit Verdot (30%), Tempranillo (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) from the best plots of the winery’s vinyards: La Higuera, Finca el Carril and Carril de Iniesta.

It is a warm and modern style wine that perfectly combines the fruit and its structure.
The nose is powerful and expressive, with notes of red fruits, spices and an elegant touch of toffee and cocoa reminiscences from its 12 months aging in new French oak barrels.
The palate is fleshy, structured and with elegant tannins.

It combines well with rice, cheese, red meat, stews and game animals.

Because it hasn’t been filtered, you may see some natural precipitate, which clearly speaks of the quality and purity of the wine.

The Hechicero from Finca El Carril has been awarded the Silver Bacchus in its latest edition.

With this new wine, Bodegas Iniesta already has 7 wines on the market, with two distinct ranges: the Finca El Carril, which this new wine belongs to, and Corazón Loco.
This winery, despite its recent creation, is already fully consolidated in the Spanish wine scene, being one of last year’s top sellers.
