The Wine-Stain as an Art Form

Amelia Fais Harnas is an American painter who has replaced the traditional oil on canvas by wine on tablecloth, using a process similar to Batik.

In her own words “I am particularly intrigued by the challenge of trying to control the unpredictable nature of wine bleeding through fabric in order to channel the equally imprecise nature of a person’s character”.

Is this not another interesting way to “work” the wine?
