The Aires de Vendimia 2011 is an aged Red wine made 100% with Mencia grapes from 75-100 year-old recovered vineyards, located in Valtuille de Abajo, in the province of León and belonging to the Bierzo Denominación de Origen (appellation of origin).

This wine with fruity aromas, especially blueberries and blackberries, a subtle menthol background and mineral nuances, is a modern wine with a strong personality that will not leave anyone indifferent.

José Antonio García, the grandson of one of the most recognized winemakers of Valtuille de Abajo, Santos, has regained the 75 plots that his grandfather cultivated with so much effort, leaving behind his career in the hotel industry and creative cuisine. He now gives special importance to a wine grown in smallholder plots, so typical of the area, that he pampers with great respect for the enviroment, with harvests at dawn, a careful strain selection, autochthonous yeasts and a flawless oak. All this with the help of a family work and utmost care on every detail of these exclusive 3,600 bottles that came out of their “micro-bodega”.

Aires de Vendimia 2011 is the result of these principles, it has been aged for 11 months, with an alcoholic degree of 14. 5%, an optimal time of consumption for the next three or four years and magnificently presented in a sealed Burgundy style bottle.

From INVINIC we want to encourage you to try this Crianza, now available in our store. It wont go unnoticed!
